The laptop at home had become slow and a pain to use. I wanted to replace it with another device but stumbled on this little box. Since I already use an external monitor, losing the second display provided by a laptop would not affect me that much. Plus, knowing that the Zen 3-based Ryzen 5 mobiles have pretty decent performance (I have one at work, which is fast). So I bought one. For my use, it is perfect - the performance is excellent, and it is silent. Another bonus is it is much smaller than the laptop it has replaced, and I have recovered desk space. I don't game, and this is for home office work. In a world where energy costs are an issue, using a 15w processor will also take care of the pennies. I already have an excellent Keychron mech keyboard and Bluetooth mouse; I need to get my redundant USB webcam from work, and I will be ready to go. It's fast, has loads of memory, has a small form factor, is cheap to run and is a fantastic price. What is not to like? The list at the moment is £369 - but a voucher knocks £100 off - So £269.

Not encountered any issues, slowness or reduction in quality compared to my main extremely powerful gaming / VR game development pc. I was really impressed with this for several months - fast, quiet, impressive for such a tiny machine. But for a week or two now I can’t get the machine to stop shutting itself down or sleeping. I currently can’t even get further than the Lock Screen password! It’s also running hot despite not being covered or being used for memory-heavy gaming or apps… so unfortunately I wouldn’t recommend this model.

I ended up picking one of these up as potential a portable PC but have ended up using it as my main desktop over an on the paper more capable Intel 10th Gen IV desktop with dedicated GPU. I picked up the Ryzen 5 5560U 16GB 500GB NVMe and paid about £250. I'll let that sink in (it also came with windows 11 and trial of Office 365) Now that spec ain't gonna set a 4K high end gamer alight but despite being a notebook chipset the 6core 12 HT Ryzen it can hold its own against current Intel i3 desktop chips from a CPU mark perspective and is faster than is i5 10500 on benchmark. I use it for Home office, surfing, watching videos, photo and even some video editing. I use it play games like minecraft and am currently re enjoying Fallout 3 at 60fps 1280x800 with setting on high/ultra (UPDATE- and pretty happy running fallout 76, Borderlands 2 and quite a few other titles) . Granted you might struggle playing latest AAA game titles but will still be fine with things like fortnight. It has 2 ports (DP & HDMI) but it will work with DP link so I use the DP and 2 DPLinked dell monitors quite happily. It is incredibly quiet. You can't hear it on light use and even when pushing the fan noise is subtle and the foot print is tiny - it comes with vesa mount stuff. You comprise on ports but it isn't much worse than some more expensive home office PCs. You get 4 USB3 plus one USB3-C, DP, HMDI, ethernet and a combined headphone/mic jack point. But you do get Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built in. I use it with Bluetooth keyboard and mouse and it is Wi Fi 6 It's core spec out of box is more than adequate. But upgrading is easy as the case is easy to access.. Probably overkill but I swapped out the 16Gb for a 2x16GB RAM set and added a big storage SSD keeping the original drive. There are few criticism at the price. I'd have preferred a rear audio jack point but that's it really. Some other makes like Beelink make almost identical models which are worth a squiz if the price is right This tens to sell at over £300 but every so often drops down to much less. Happily recommend

the boot screen doesnt go past the BIOS setting, while there are external USB devices connected to the PC. tried updating the OS, and resetting too, doesnt help. i reckon the mother board is faulty or lacks the feature to start with USB devices connected. not recommended for purchase
