I use it as a Windows laptop, Chromebook, and Samsung Dex docking station and it works well. Only criticism is the usb c cable that connects the station to the device is really short. If you have a laptop on a stand for example, it isn't long enough for the station to sit on the desk, or if you use different laptops with the usb c ports on different sides, you have to move the station (and other wires you've connected to it) when you change devices.

Adds Ethernet and HDMI support for my laptop that wants to output these services signal over USB-C. 9 months on and it's worth an update. I read a review railing against the device because it doesn't do GB ethernet. And that's problem if you need GB ethernet. It's not a requirement for me and the 100MB ethernet works OK. So does the HDMI. The review also rails against the USB-C port because its doesn't act as a USB-C port in the sense you can't add another USB-C device to the port and expect data. It's 87W power only port. The real reason for this additional post is because I too was getting frustrated. Wanting to use a DooGee Android tablet as an additional monitor my assumption was that I'd be able to plug a USB-C cable into the hub and the tablet and it would work. No it doesn't because the USB-C port does not carry data. Instead, I'm using one of the USB 3.0 ports which does carry data by using a cable that has a USB style connector on one end - into the hub's 3.0 port - and a USB-C style connector on the other end to plug into the tablet. Works like a charm. Just though you ought to know.

Works as advertised and for anyone interested it works with an iPad with a USB C port, on IOS 18 as well as a PC….this is a really useful product as it is so flexible, so many different ports. Not tried them all but the USB’s work with a flash drive.

I use these items a lot when travelling. These three are my current ones, and this review is about the long silver device (the second photo). All these three promise USB 3, which has recently been rebadged as USB 3.1. The price of these items varies with promotions and this item is currently £13, the middle one £35 and the lower one (no longer available) was £15 in 2019. There are two advantages of the more recent items: the HDMI link and the through-hub power connection (using PD, not QC). This particular device does not reliably transfer power to an iPad (pro) but transfers power three times quicker than the green one to Android devices. The green one is much better with an iPad (but not "quick") and also has a more reliable HDMI connector. Note that this device also has a USB-C connector in addition to the PD power connector. However, only one of the USB-A ports is 3.1 Gen1 . The green device sports three USB-A 3.1Gen1 which are labelled USB 3.0 on the actual device. However they do all work at Gen 1 speed. For travelling purposes, this device currently represents the best compromise between cost and features, unless you are using it with an iPad or a Smart TV.

We have two to connect laptops with hard drives etc. They both don't seem to work very well. We thought we had lost projects on hard drives, as only part was showing through the docking station. When we linked the hard drives directly to the laptops the information was all there, so we are having to buy two different ones and hopefully yhey will work. Not ideal, both were bought in the last couple of months.

Der Service ist sehr gut und hat sich sofort mit mir in Verbindung gesetzt. Das Ersatzgerät funktioniert für alle Bereiche sehr gut mit allen Anschlüssen die man braucht. Allerdings mit einer Einschränkung für Musiker. Audio ist anscheinend als Einbahnstraße angelegt. Man kann nicht gleichzeitig über USB - Mikrofon aufnehmen und über Kopfhörer abhören. Es geht nur das eine oder das andere. Dabei wäre es durch die Möglichkeit gleichzeitig das Device zu laden Ideal für den Zweck. Ansonsten rundum Empfehlenswert. Mein Problem ist das iPad als Musikinstrument einzusetzen. Da Apple den Kopfhörerausgang abgeschafft hat ist es ein Problem die vielen schönen Apps zur Musikproduktion zu nutzen. Wenn ein Mikrofon am USB -C angeschlossen ist bekommt man keinen Sound in die Anlage, nur die eingauten Speaker. Bluetooth headphones usw. geht nicht wegen der Verzögerung. Daher muss man jetzt immer mit Adaptern herumpfriemeln. Da dieser Hub alle nötigen Anschlüsse hat und außerdem Strom zum Aufladen durchschleift fand ich ihn optimal. In der Praxis gab es aber folgendes Problem. Wenn ich über USB ein Mikrofon anschließe schaltet der Kopfhörerausgang ab und es funktioniert nur noch der eingebaute Lautsprecher. Ohne Instrument funktionierte der Kopfhörer einwandfrei. Trotz mehrfacher Versuche wollte es einfach nicht funktionieren. Ein einfacheres Gerät zum halben Preis hatte damit kein Problem und funktionierte sofort. Allerdings schleift es keinen Ladestrom durch und hat kein HDMI. Musste das Teil leider zurück senden. Das funktioniert bei Amazon allerdings immer problemlos.

Utilizzo questa docking station USB-C da circa un anno e mezzo e sono rimasto complessivamente molto soddisfatto. Offre una vasta gamma di porte (HDMI, Ethernet, VGA, audio, ecc.) che la rendono estremamente versatile e adatta a diverse esigenze. L'ho utilizzata senza alcun problema sia con PC Windows che con vari Mac, e attualmente la sto usando con un MacPro collegato a un monitor esterno FullHD. In passato ho avuto esperienze negative con prodotti simili di altre marche, che tendevano a surriscaldarsi eccessivamente causando la perdita del segnale video. Con questo hub, invece, non ho mai riscontrato problemi di surriscaldamento o instabilità del segnale per tutto il primo anno e mezzo di utilizzo. Recentemente, la porta HDMI ha smesso di funzionare. Temevo il peggio, ma ho deciso di contattare il servizio clienti. Sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dalla loro efficienza: in pochi giorni mi hanno spedito un'unità sostitutiva completamente nuova, risolvendo il problema in maniera rapida e impeccabile. Ottimo prodotto e ottimo servizio clienti.

Her girişi kusursuz çalışıyor. Isınma sorunu yada takılma vs. Yapmıyor gerçekten güzel bir ürün çok işime yarıyor. Giriş hızlarını test etmedim ama ethernet ile 45 mbps alabildim sorunsuz şekilde. Samsung dex yada laptoba ekstra giriş için isteyenlere ideal bir ürün. Hızlı teslimatta vardı.
