Over all it seems like a good quality SSD drive. Compact with good transfer speeds. One minor niggle is the connecting cable. It’s a little too short and stiff to work with easily. I’m always having to manually bend it one way or the other to allow the device to lie flat. Lastly in order for my smart TV to access the SSD, I had to reformat it to NTFS. No regrets buying it though. A nice piece of kit. 😊

Received the drive today and immediately benchmarked it, in my PC motherboards USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C® port and my Mac Mini M4 Thunderbolt port. I attach photos of the results... Its definitely capable of 2000 MB/s when connected to a proper USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C® port, chose this drive as it was only a few pounds dearer than a Sandisk or Kingston drive only capable of 1050 MB/s.

Thought I’d give it a go as I wanted a high capacity external drive that had a more reliable connection than my previous SATA based HDD with the flimsy small clip connector usb cable that is easily knocked out. I already had a Sandisk Extreme Pro SSD for my music production work but wanted something that wasn’t as expensive as that. This works great and at 2/3 of the price. Connection is reliable. Data transfer speeds are great and I would definitely recommend this if you are looking for a cheaper alternative to the big brands.

El fanxiang Disco Duro Externo, es una solución muy económica para los que como yo buscan transferir archivos a una gran velocidad (2 GBps nada menos), el echo que de que tenga doble puerto (usb c/usb a) es una maravilla puesto que puedes conectarlo según más te convenga, por ejemplo al móvil o a cualquier pc/consola que temga dichos puertos. Cabe destacar que solo alcanza los 2000 mb/s que promete si la conexión es de usb c a usb c y el puero de tu pc es 3.2 gen 2 (hasta 10 GBps), sino la velocidad quedará limitada a unos 1050 mb/s (usb 3.1) o 600 mb/s (usb 3.0). Sumado lo anterior a su pequeño y compacto tamaño y peso (45 gr) es una maravilla poder llevar tanto almacenamiento en tan poco espacio, además su carcasa resistente a las gotas de agua y el polvo lo hacen aún más premium. En definitiva, por el precio es casi imposible encontrar nada mejor, un acierto total su compra.
