Used this with my xbox, and sound quality is brilliant, design is nice, mic and chat quaily is great as well, so easy to connect and can be used with multiple devices, I played my xbox one evening for 4 hours and they were super comfortable, my ears didn't sweat or start to hurt, overall this headset is excellent for the price and if your just a general gamer they are perfect, and with the super sound addition you can hear back ground noise like foot steps really clear, big help in games like call of duty.

I upgraded from the Stealth 700 Gen 2 to this and it was worth every bit of money spent! The battery life is so much better that since my purchase I’ve not charged it once and it’s still got so much charge left. The sound is so crisp and having the dual wireless transmitters is really neat. The cushioning around the ear muffs is really comfortable and with it being so lightweight you don’t really notice it’s there. Love the additional functionality with the Bluetooth specific buttons on the right ear muff, just makes operating my phone in the background so much easier. Overall an amazing headset, best I’ve used for gaming.

I moved to these after previously using razer nari headsets (yeah I know, what was it thinking?). I'd previously had bad experiences with turtle beach. Primarily the build quality. But thought I'd take a chance with these. I honestly have to say. These may be the best headsets I've ever had. The battery life is insane. You go "yeah right, 80 hours of battery life" then usually have to charge headsets before every game session. But I've charged these well over a week ago, and after 8 hours of gaming every night for well over 7 days ago, they still have 48% charge. The app is a breeze to use. And any firmware update CAN be done via mobile. Sound is amazing. With a great balance between treble and bass. With neither cancelling the other out. And the cheery on top is the Bluetooth connection. You can answer calls, watch YouTube ect whilst using the headset. And the build quality is robust, but very comfortable, and glasses friendly. A superb headset. That has restored my faith in turtle beach.

Upgraded from a cheap £30 turtle beach headset and its a night and day difference. Quality of the stealth 700 is high, they feel solid and don't feel heavy to wear for long periods of time. Sound Quality is excellent and mic Quality is really good. The app is brilliant, its easy to update the hardware and change settings on the headset, for £149 on offer definitely worth the price.

Terrible product. Clunky setup, two USB dongles which must be both plugged in and updated via software. When the one labelled Xbox is installed in an Xbox it's not recognised and no audio is sent through it. Under Device Manager on a PC the Hardware ID of the Xbox labelled dongle is the same as the PC dongle. Not sure if this relevant but the Xbox USB dongle does not appear in device manager as an Xbox device. Just to add insult to injury, purchased before Xmas for £170 initiating a return I've just seen it listed today for £149.

Lovely quality headset. Sounds fantastic, no sound latency with the wireless connection and very comfortable to wear for long periods of time. However, the software update process is an absolute nightmare. It'll probably fail multiple times. The second update I had done a good 5 months in, I made the mistake of removing one of the receivers from my PC *AFTER* it said the update had failed as I had basically given up. Basically bricking the headset and took me hours of playing about with the Bluetooth while plugged in for it to actually successfully update and work again (by some absolute miracle I feel). Once you've started an update it must be successful otherwise it'll not function so keep pressing the try again button which seems to be all it needs as the update process seems to be very poorly optimised.

You know, I was sceptical at first, reading the reviews and seeing people complaining about the app not working, not being able to update the headset etc, but I’ve had turtle beach products in the past and they have worked very well (I still own 2 separate ones for Xbox and ps) and because they have worked well in the past, I thought I’d give it a go… well first off… I wasn’t very impressed when the app didn’t work, after some research and looking online… I found that I had to delete the app and reinstall… so I did that, turned the headset on, connected via Bluetooth through the phone, not the app, it doesn’t like it that way… I then opened the app and it let me connect, great start. I followed the in app instructions, plugged in both dongles and left the headset connected via Bluetooth, everything updated and the headset then worked as I wanted. Thank god because I was about ready to return it as it wasn’t working properly, but it just needed updating. Once you get past that, let me tell you… the sound quality is brilliant, I only have to have it on about 10-15 on my laptop along with the noise cancelling it’s already 10 times better than my razer headset. Having all the volume and mode functions on the headset is brilliant. I can swap over quick as anything from my console to my phone (which was one advantage I wanted, as well as swapping from my Xbox to my pc to my phone if I really wanted to. That was one selling point for me, having a headset that I can use for 3 different things. Once I got past the app frustrations it’s definitely worth the money and I convinced my friend to get one after I explained the user error for the app. Brilliant quality and fits really nicely around the ears and with glasses too

Outstanding bit of kit a replacement for a 12 year old pair. Easy to use and set up and the larger comes cancel out chatter in the same living room. I would recommend these for any gamer I’m using XBOX and it signs me in every time I pick them up. Not the cheapest, but by far the best!

Worst headset I've ever used out of the box. There's constant faint static in the headphones, the microphone is weak, the range is pathetic (you can't step two feet away from the room with the dongle before it cuts out). The worst part by far is the random disconnections though. You can be sat right in front of the dongle and every 10-20 minutes the headset will just disconnect on its own and you'll have to restart it to reconnect it. Sometimes even that doesn't work and you have to pair it all over again. All of this is consistent with other problems people have had, so for all that is good: do NOT buy this headset!

Über die letzten 15 Jahre habe ich viele Gaming Kopfhörer gehabt und obwohl die Auswahl an Marken und Modellen überwältigend groß ist, bin ich oft bei Turtle Beach Headsets gelandet. Zuletzt hatte ich die Plantronics RIG 800LX über 3 Jahre lang im Einsatz gehabt und den Sound und das Komfort geliebt, bis sie mehrere Probleme bekamen. Ich suchte danach nach einem neuen kabellosen Headset mit ähnlich "spaßigen" Soundprofil und Bluetooth Konnektivität. Habe die SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7X probiert, sind zwar angenehm zu tragen aber der Soundprofil (mit dem standard EQ) klingt sehr dünn und blechern. Der Nacon RIG 600HX Pro klingt dem großen Bruder ähnlicher und hat eine App mit EQ Einstellungen, aber nach 6 Monaten hatte der Lautstärkenregler Probleme. Somit habe ich auf die neuen Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3 und deren Rezessionen gewartet, bis ich sie gekauft habe. Optik, Material & Ausstattung Die Kopfhörer sind bildlich gesehen zuemlich groß. Das liegt vor allem daran, dass die Ohrmuscheln überdurchschnittlich große 60mm "Eclipse" Lautsprecher und ziemlich breite bzw. tiefe Memory-Foam Ohrpolster haben. Diese Ohrpolstern sind außen aus Kunstleder und innen aus Stoff, wodurch sie gut Außen Geräusche isolieren, aber die Ohren werden nicht zu heiß. Die Muscheln sind über einem Metal-Arm mit dem höhenverstellbaren Kopfband verbunden. Auf dem linken Ohrmuschel ist das Mikrofon versteckt, was man runterklappen. Auf der linken, Hinterseite findet man die Steuerungen für die Lautstärke, Game/Chat-Balance, EQ Mode Button und der Einschaltknopf. Auf de linken Hinterseitebsind der Lautstärkenregeler für Bluetooth und ein Knopf um zwischen 2 Geräte zu wechseln. In der Packung, neben der spärlichen Anleitung und dem USB-C Ladekabel, sind noch 2 USB Empfänger, mit deren Hilfe man zws. 2 Geräte (z.B. Xbox und PC) schalten kann. Komfort Obwohl die Kopfhörer mit 408 Gramm relativ schwer sind, finde ich sie trotzdem angenehm. Dank den tiefen Ohrpolstern und der gewinkelten Bauweise für die eingebauten Lautsprecher, haben die Ohren genug Platz und die Kopfhörer drücken nicht. Das Gewicht verteilt sich angenehm über den Kopf, sodass man die Kopfhörer über mehrere Stunden tragen kann. Die Ohrpolstern sind auch speziell so gebaut, dass sie für Brillenträger beim Brillenbügel weicher sind und somit nicht stören. Audio Ich bin kein Audioexperte, also kann ich nur meine persönliche Meinung und Wahrnehmung beschreiben. Manche mögen einen dünnen, flachen Soundprofil, aber ich habe gerne einen angenehm "warmen", runden Soundprofil, wo ein kräftiger Bass präsent ist, aber hohe Töne und Stimmen klar hörbar sind. In diesem Bereich punktet bei mir der Stealth 700 Gen 3 voll, dank den 60mm "Eclipse" Dual-Treiber wo die meisten Gaming-Kopfhörer (nur) 40 bis 50 mm Treiber bieten. Auf dem "Signature" EQ klingt es für Spiele und Filme ganz ordentlich, aber über der Turtle Beach "Swarm II" App kann man noch weitere EQ Profile erstellen und den Klang dem eigenen Geschmack anpassen. Auch die räumliche Surround Wahrnehmung ist sehr gut. Ich habe auf der Xbox eine Dolby Atmos Lizenz, was das ganze optimiert, aber Xbox Besitzer ohne der Dolby Lizenz können "Windows Sonic" von Microsoft verwenden. Für Spieler von Online Shooter wie z.B. Call of Duty, Rainboe Six, etc. bietet Turtle Beach serienmäßig den "Superhuman Hearing" , das per Knopfdruck den Soundprofil so anpasst, dass Schritt Geräusche und Feuerwaffen besser wahrnehmbar sind, während basslastige Explosionsgeräusche reduziert sind. Mikrofon Ich glaube, das Mikrofon ist ein kleines Schwachpunkt. Zwar funktioniert der einwandfrei, und dank KI Technologie kann es Hintergrundgeräusche rausfiltern, aber der Klang von der eigenen Stimme klingt nicht sehr natürlich. Streaming Profis werden ein eigenständiges Studio-Mikrofon empfehlen, aber für den Durchschnittsspieler genügt das Mikrofon vom Stealth 700 Gen 3 vollkommen. Per Flip-to-Mute lässt sich das Mikrofon stumm schalten, was ganz praktisch ist, da man keinen Knopf suchen muss. Turtle Beach üblich gibt es Mic-Monitoring, das man in der App konfigurieren kann. Mit diesem Feature wird das Audio vom Mikrofon in die Kopfhörer reingespielt, damit beim Reden man sich selbst hört. Das verhindert, dass man in das Mikrofon schreit und ist ganz praktisch am Abend wenn die eigene Familie schon schläft. Konnektivität In diesem Bereich hat das Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3 Headset der Konkurrenz gegenüber die Nase vorn, denn das Headset kommt mit 2 USB Empfängern für die kabellose 2,4 GHz Funkverbindung. Per Knopfdruck kann man somit zwischen 2 Geräten schnell wechseln. Bei anderen Headsets müsste man den Empfänger von einem Gerät zum anderen stecken. Hier muss man vor dem Kauf aber beachten, dass es 3 unterschiedliche Versionen gibt, was sich stark auf die Konnektivität auswirkt: Die Xbox Version gibt es in Cobalt Blau oder Schwarz und hat einen USB Empfänger exklusiv für Xbox Konsolen (One oder Series S|X) und einen für PC oder PlayStation (4 bzw. 5) Die PlayStation Version gibt es in Weiß und in Schwarz und hat 2 gleiche USB Empfänger die sowohl auf PlayStation 4/5 als auch am PC funktionieren. Die PC Version gibt es nur in Schwarz und hat genauso wie die PlayStation Version 2 gleiche USB Empfänger, aber verwendet eine höhere 32-bit Bandbreite für den Mikrofon am PC. Zusätzlich lässt sich das Headset über 5.2 Bluetooth mit mobilen Geräten wie Smartphones, Tablets und Nintendo Switch verbinden und das sogar simultan. Das heißt, während man z.B. Minecraft auf der Konsole spielt, kann man gleichzeitig am Smartphone auf Discord mit anderen Leute reden, YouTube Videos gucken oder Telefongespräche führen. Das ist ein sehr praktisches Feature. App Ich habe die Turtle Beach "Swarm II" App am Smartphone (für Android und iOS verfügbar) installiert, man kann die Applikation aber auch als Desktop Ap für Windows 10 & 11 PCs runterladen. Im ersten Schritt wird die Swarm App verwenden, um die Firmware des Headsets und der 2 USB Empfängern zu aktualisieren. Dieser Aktualisierungsprozess ist etwas kompliziert, denn es müssen beide USB Empfänger in einen eingeschalteten Gerät gleichzeitig aktiv sein und das Headset eingeschaltet. Die Aktualisierung schlug beim 1. Mal fehl bei mir, beim 2. Versuch lief sie erfolgreich durch. Die Swarm App bietet einige Konfigurationsoptionen an: Einstellungen zu Superhuman-Hearing, eigene Equalizer auf einer 10-Band Frequenz Konfiguration, Mikrofon Einstellungen, die Ausschaltzeit bei Inaktivität, Helligkeit des Status LEDs am USB Empfänger. Persönlich finde ich die Einstellungen über der App ganz praktisch, weil ich mein Smartphone immer in der Nähe habe und schnell Anpassungen machen kann. Beim SteelSeries Arctis Nova 7X hätte ich das nur über dem PC machen können und das standard Audioprofil hat mir gar nicht zugesagt. Batterie Laut Hersteller bietet der eingebaute Akku bis zu 80 Stunden Laufzeit und mit Quick-Charge bekommt man 3 Stunden bei 15 Minuten Ladezeit. Geladen wird über USB-C Anschluss. Gemäßen habe ich die 80 Stunden nicht, aber für mich hält der Akku locker 1 Monat ohne laden zu müssen. Im Gegensatz zu manch anderen Gaming Headsets hat leider das Stealth 700 Gen 3 keinen 3,5 mm Anschluss und somit kann man sie nicht per Kabel anschließen, falls der Akku leer ist. Fazit Für mich erfüllt das Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3 Headset meine wichtigsten Kriterien in den Bereichen Audioprofil, Konnektivität (kabellos mit simultanes Bluetooth) und Komfort. Für Action-geladene Spiele und Filme bietet der Kopfhörer ein bombastisches Sounderlebnis und für musikalische Feinheiten kann der EQ angepasst werden. Zusätzlich sind die lange Akkulaufzeit und die praktische App ein Bonus. Da kann ich über den kleinen Mankos, mit dem Aktualisierungsprozess und dem durchschnittlichen Mikrofon, hinwegsehen. Für den Preis bin ich mit der Fülle an Features und der Qualität durchaus zufrieden.

This headset sounds great. I had the Steelseries Arctis 7x and my friends complained about the mic dropping out randomly. So I tried these out and the sound and mic is amazing. My friends even said it sounds more like me. Pros: Sound is punchy with deep bass and high treble. I reomend using the Bass and Treble preset. Sounds the best for footsteps. Comes with two dongles so I just have to hit a button to switch from Xbox to my PC. You can also have your phone connected to answer calls or listen to music while you game. The headset has 3 volume controls, the regular volume, chat to game mixer, and the Bluetooth volume. Last is the mic. My friend has the gen 2 version and it sounds like we are talking on the phone, he says I sound the same. This has been the best mic I've had on a headset. Cons: The app is terrible. There aren't numbers on the mixer so you have to figure it out on your own. This is very difficult to figure out if you're not a soundphile person. The presets aren't the greatest. The best I found is the bass and treble preset. The super human hearing setting is awful. It has legacy, gunfire, and footsteps. On the Xbox it just kills the sound, the footsteps and gunfire are punchier on the other presets with this feature turned off. The setting basically sounds like really bad earbuds. The other problem is firmware updates. This requires you to have the dongles plugged into both devices with them turned on. So if you don't have a PC, forget about updating the firmware. The last issue is where the volume controls are. When I wear a hoodie my hood will randomly change the chat mixer. Not a big problem but something to be aware of. Besides the app and firmware, this headset is great. It's the best one I have owned and sounds amazing on all fronts.
