I bought a SteelSeries headset for Zoom and Teams on the advice of my Gamer son. I liked it and the wireless system works well - even though it uses USB-C and I had to buy an adapter. What’s that got to do with the Corsair? Well, when lockdown 3 started and schools went online, my 12 year old daughter needed a headset, so I gave her that SS set. This meant that I was back on a search for another set - and I thought ‘do I buy another SS set or buy what my son uses - a Corsair Gaming set?’ I researched, read up and looked around and came to the same conclusion that my son had - that these are very good value for money. For music I only use Bose as they suit my music choices, fit very well and sound superb. Yes they’re expensive but they are, for me, the best. When reading about these Corsairs, I saw posts that the fit isn’t great and the sound is not always what is expected. Now my online headphone requirements are modest; I’m no gamer but I am a songwriter and collaborate with my music partner regularly. These fit me nicely, the sound is great and I love the Mic which when you flip it up, turns the mic off. The American voice that states ‘Mic on / Mic off’ is annoying and perhaps you can turn it off - the software ‘iCue’ is easy to use and can control a host of other Corsair gadgets. My main gripe is the size of the USB Dongle - it’s the same size as an old thumb drive and could be damaged fairly easily. Unlike the SS version which is a lot smaller (but I accept that brings other issues). For the price I paid; this set is comfortable, very configurable (the lights on the sides of the headphone cup can be altered to your own taste like a lot of Corsair products), the mic flips up out of the way (and is turned off when in that position) and the overall sound of the set is very pleasing. You can adjust the sound to a variety of settings and although I’ve not played with that much, it does make a noticeable difference if you like that sort of thing and could enhance games. I bought these headphones so I can play with my friends on my computer. The setup of them is literally plug and play. Even a baby could set them up. The batter life seems great, I haven’t used the entire thing yet! The headphones are pretty weighty however it makes up with that with great Adjustability, with the band and the earmuffs itself. I can practically fit it nice and snug onto any pair of ears I can find! The value for money is great. They are pretty pricey but some of my friends have had these headphones for years and they haven’t given up. Mic quality is great, obviously not streaming good, but it’s good, and you can speak to others clearly. The mic however sits a bit too low if fully down, but you can adjust that too. The appearance is fantastic! These headphones look slick, nice, and just overall great! I’ve had people compliment me for them! I definitely reccomend these if you’re a gamer, very good headphones!

I got this headset with the intention of finally going full wireless with regards to my peripherals, and this headset is a great addition to my setup! The sound quality out of the box is alright however I recommend messing around with the EQ silders on The "iCUE" application required when using this headset so as to fully utilise the headset when listening to music. This brings me to my other point, pressing the volume knob allows you to go through all your EQ presets so you can have specific EQ settings for different situations; I love it since I personally have been using the FPS EQ preset provided by Corsair. Going back however, I mentioned there being a volume knob, it's self explanatory, just a knob on the left earphone which you can rotate up or down controlling the volume. In my experience I usually have it at around 35-50% as the headset can get super loud and may be even damaging to your ears. The gameplay experience is something we must talk about before continuing. For general gameplay and competitive games I cannot recommend this headset enough. Being able to have a custom EQ preset in order to hear footsteps and the like easier is so helpful that I almost feel like I'm cheating. The only type of game that this headset cannot be paired with is rhythm games. I feel too much latency when trying to do anything on the beat: I noticed this on the game "Osu!". I am not simply blaming this headset for my poor timing as I personally have no problem tapping on beat. However, after using this headset for the first time on "Osu!" I found myself having to change the song offset to around +5 or +15ms as the latency was too noticeable. It's a simple fix on "Osu!". However playing a game like "Beat Saber" where song offset isn't a feature of the game really begins to aggravate me as I find myself completely screwing up songs I was previously able to do. This isn't just a pair of headphones though, you also have a mic to use which even has a setting to where you can hear yourself in real time! The mic quality is what you'd expect from a headset, it's very clear but it does sound like you're talking through an early 2000s brick phone. The mic has two ways of muting and unmuting, the first one through a button on the left side and the second one through lifting the mic up. Using the second method (although satisfying to do) is also somewhat risky as I have experienced it dropping down before leading to the mic unmuting. If you have your setting enabled, you'll have a tone play whenever it mutes and unmutes so it's not hard to figure out if your mic is muted or not. Lets go into how the headset feels on the head. Frankly, it is too loose a fit. You cannot have these headphones on while playing VR as it will fall off your head. With this, I cannot recommend this headset if you are thinking on using it for VR. I hope they fix this issue if Corsair decide to make a revised version of this headset as it may be a deal breaker for some: having less wires to worry about when playing VR is so advantageous! With all this in mind, this is a great wireless headset with a lot of very useful features! The audio quality coming out of the drivers are great. The mic is not too different to any other headset mic and even has pretty good noise cancelling since other headsets have the problem of being able to pickup what's coming out of the headphones. Although not great for rhythm games, you can find ways around this. Lastly, the fit of the headset just isn't good enough for VR where wireless can really be handy! If you're looking into going wireless, this is a good headset but please do take everything into consideration! The last thing we want is to have to get another pair!

I received these recently when my Sony WH900s developed a crack across the left speaker, effortless install does use it's own arbitrary dongle to pickup the headset's signal, it will NOT work on bluetooth so won't work with phones etc. Needs iCUE software installed, I found the presets for the equaliser for the headset to be lacking, even when setting to what I would like still seemed not as good as my WH900. But I also have Dolby Atmos and by using that instead, the sound quality is great, it took about a week or so to get used to them being the new sound but then it felt natural. The 7.1 surround works with Atmos too, so gaming is great and noises sound more distinct while doing so. I would have given 4/5 but for the price and the quality build, I think a 5/5 is fairer.

Ich bin absolut begeistert von diesem Headset und habe es sogar ein weiteres Mal für meinen Bruder gekauft. Es ist extrem bequem, selbst bei langen Gaming-Sessions, und bietet einen herausragenden Tragekomfort. Das Mikrofon liefert eine exzellente Klangqualität, und dank der effektiven Geräuschunterdrückung wird die Kommunikation klar und deutlich – störende Hintergrundgeräusche werden zuverlässig ausgeblendet. Die kabellose Verbindung funktioniert einwandfrei. Besonders wichtig war für mich, dass es keine Bluetooth-Verbindung nutzt, sondern eine Funktechnologie. Auch die Akkulaufzeit hat mich überzeugt – sie reicht problemlos für lange Sessions. Der Sound ist sehr gut und mit dem Bass macht das Musik hören auch spaß. Vor dem Corsair Void Elite habe ich einige Logitech-Optionen für einen ähnlichen Preis ausprobiert. Doch im direkten Vergleich bietet Corsair für den gleichen Preis deutlich mehr. Mein Logitech-Headset hatte eine viel schlechtere Soundqualität, ein minderwertiges Mikrofon und war bereits nach nur einem Jahr unbrauchbar. Im Gegensatz dazu hält mein Corsair Headset jetzt schon seit 4-5 Jahren problemlos. Die Leistung ist nach wie vor ausgezeichnet, und ich kann es uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Alles in allem ein ausgezeichnetes Gaming-Headset.

ho provato varie cuffie wireless e queste a mani basse vincono su tutto. il suono è fantastico e poi con l'applicazione iCUE di Corsair puoi modificare alti bassi medi e impostare un tuo profilo personalizzato, oltre gia quelli presenti, premendo la rotellina che regola il volume. in confezione sono compresi la chiave usb per la modalità wireless e un cavo usbA-microusb (e non usbc che è una grave pecca ma me ne faro un ragione). rgb belli luminosi. la cuffia di per se è comoda con i padiglioni in tessuto e memory foam per una maggiore comodità. la batteria dura abbastanza. il microfono è un buon microfono anche se fa del rumore di fondo (forse sono io che l'ho impostato male eh, pero è comodo). inoltre c'è una voce interna che ti dice se il microfono e mutato o no, tra quanto tempo si autospengono le cuffie perche si si autospengono dopo 5min (è possibile cambiare il tempo tramite l'app). le consiglio a chi cerca una cuffia wireless che è di buona qualità e facile da impostare
