If you don't have iCue open, this keyboard double types and malfunctions entirely. Good luck typing in your password or pin to even open iCue! This keyboard is the worst thing you can do to yourself, it's not a defective keyboard, it's Corsair themselves. Their software is simply the worst thing coded. If you think you can get away with it by getting support from Corsair, you must be having a laugh. They'll reply to you 2 weeks later and tell you to do the most basic things "have u tried turning it on and off" Cheers mate never thought of that. Was worth the 2 week wait Again, never get this keyboard. Never get anything from corsair unless its RAM, PSU, or even a computer case. Everything else SUCKS.

Great keyboard K70 Core Excellent RGB And I haven't had any double press issues as some reviews suggest. I did update the firmware using icue and no issues at all. Not very loud when typing but is a nice premium feel to it. Very good.

Exactly what I was looking for. Very tactile, RGB is nice and bright and the light animations are smooth.

As a fan of the Corsair gear in general, this one was a panic buy when I decided to throw wine all over my K70 Mk2. What I will say is this keyboard is not as good as the Mk2, although given the price difference I guess this is to be expected. The keys have a tendency to double-type when you are not hooked up to iCue on the latest firmware - meaning logging in can be an issue. Forcfully re-updating the firmware did help alleviate this a little, although it does still do it on occasion - so will loose a star on this basis. Once iCue is up and running, the problem disappears. I prefer the mech keys on the mk2 aswell, although this is subjective. If this issue does happen to you, there is a way of 'resetting' this keyboard (and other Corsair keybaords) that not many people know about, which can help you. Our favourite search engine will find the how-to on their website with ease. That said its a good keyboard with a good feel, and as I have now repaired my Mk2, I will be keeping this as a backup for the next drink-induced-disaster I occasion on. Like I said I have always preferred Corsair gear, and have had nothing but a positive experience with them, or their customer service (replacing keys on my Mk2 cost me nothing, even out of warranty - which not many manufacturers will do. If this is your first keyboard from Corsair or even a mech, you will not be disappointed. The lighting options in iCue alone are endless!

update - this keyboard also has switch mis-presses when connected directly to a USB port, even when not using a usb hub (you can't use a USB hub - see below). Brief summary: good customer service/can't use most usb hubs/light patterns don't go to stationary I also need to say the icue software is full featured, and nigh on impossible to use. the layout just.....doesn't make sense. I don't understand why software has to be "unique" looking. the navigation panels don't make any sense. I will say that corsairs support was superb, both pre sales and after sales. the K70 product just.....had issues. the two K60 products might be better for you. The two main issues with this keyboard in no particular order; 1) The LED pattern movement slider/adjustment, and also keyboard shortcut keys goes from slow to faster. It would be much better if this adjustment went from stationary to faster 2) Also - the keyboard doesn't give reliable operation with most usb hubs. this is unfortunate - especially on a laptop which only has a maximum of 3 usb ports (1 mouse, 1 hub, I've lost use of the USB-C port because the keyboard is now plugged into it) So I would like to expand on 2). I've just read lots of people complaining about repeating/double/missing key presses. This is because of the USB hub. Yes - this keyboard cannot be reliably used with almost all USB hubs. It took me quite a lot of headache to discover this (is it Windows being temperamental? Is it my other USB devices? Is it the firmware? software clash? bad cable? do I need to reboot more often?) very disappointed I am hoping that corsair may be able to offer a firmware and/or icue fix for 1) (should be fairly simple to do...??), I can say that the typing issue isn't to do with the icue software - so whether a keyboard firmware fix can also sort out 2) at the moment this isn't really a very desirable product - but could be if these 2 issues were fixed

Really good keyboard for the price. Keys feel great, click is not too loud and the lighting doesn't drive me crazy either. Comes with a palm rest, which I wasn't expecting. Excellent purchase and very much recommended.
