This is a great piece of home exercise equipment. The size is ideal - it is compact yet very sturdy, and takes up much less space than some other exercise bikes. It has easily adjustable tensioning and a display that gives me all the info I need. Putting it together was ok - I did it on my own, apart from having to venture to the manufacturers YouTube site to figure out attaching the tension wire (which is actually very straightforward, and I had initially misunderstood what to do from the diagrams). For the money, compared to what you can pay for these things, I cannot fault it.

I found the product really easy to assemble and it took about 40 minutes or so to do it. I’ve been using the exercise bike for a few months now and I’ve found it really easy to use, I like the different functions on the monitor and especially like that it tells you how many calories you’ve burnt and distance travelled. You can change the different tensions on the wheel to make it harder or easier which is a good feature, also you can adjust the seat up and down. It’s well built and very sturdy. The only downside to it is that you can’t switch the KM unit to Miles but I just use a converter on Google. I saw in earlier reviews that the seat was comfortable, it’s okay for a bit but then after using for a while it starts to get really uncomfortable. Overall I would definitely recommend this product as it does exactly what it’s supposed to do and is great value for money. The only downside is the seat but you can buy things to put on it to make it more comfortable. 9/10

I bought this bike just over 5 months ago, and having clocked up just over 2000 km I feel it's time to review it. Firstly, I bought this in early January 2021, in the midst of a Covid lockdown and at what must a peak sales time (what with New Year resolutions and post-Christmas pounds to shift etc), so I was really surprised when my bike arrived within 3 days - much quicker than my most optimistic expectations. Hubby and I managed to put it all together in just over two hours, however at least half the time was spent in trying to identify all the different parts. The instruction manual gave an exploded view of all the parts but the statement that some parts had been pre-assembled was not as helpful as it could have been - it would have been more useful to know exactly which parts. After all, the manufacturer would know which bits they had put together, so why not actually tell everyone this? It shouldn't be a secret! We got there anyway, even managing to get the various cables hooked up with minimal swearing (on Hubby's part, not mine). It sits quite happily in the spare bedroom and doesn't take up too much space. The bike itself fits us both - he's 6'1" and I'm only 5'3" - and whilst I'm the main user it adjusts easily (seat, handlebars, pedal straps) when we need to. It's a sturdy machine and has been very stable. The saddle benefits from a gel cover for greater comfort - but don't buy the one suggested automatically by Amazon (KTS KT-Sports Bike Seat Cover) as this doesn't fit. As suggested by other purchasers I bought the 27*25cm Gel Bike Saddle Cover Large by FUCNEN and this fits well. The resistance level changes are easily controlled by a simple knob and the levels are noticeably different. I'd not really used a bike much in the past 45 years but I've managed to work my way up to level 4 so far, and now I cycle for an hour 3 or 4 times a week. The slight knocking noise from the pedals turned out to be caused by my feet being a bit loose, and making sure they were tight against the straps soon solved this. The LCD computer display is easy to read and the original batteries are still going strong. The time/distance/calories etc are reset after each use (once you stop using the bike the screen holds these details for about 4 minutes only, so keep your notepad handy if you want to record these) but the ongoing odometer reading is retained. I'm guessing it will restart after 9999 km as there don't seem to be enough digits to show more. Although I paid £90 more in January than it's current price (market forces, supply and demand etc) I still feel I got value for money. I use it far more than I expected to, and it's definitely helped increase my fitness far more than my gym membership (now cancelled) ever did. In summary, on the the pro side is the suitability for people with different height/weight and fitness levels. On the con side would be the frustration of not knowing which parts are pre-assembled (but this is once only), plus the saddle definitely needs the extra gel cover.

After looking at loads of exercise bikes, I decided to give this model a spin based on the price. Must admit that I wasn't too sure what to expect at this price point, but was well more than surprised at the build quality after assembly. The bike is pretty easy to assemble, although 2 people make it a lot easier when connecting the handlebar column to the base and attaching the cables. Overall, the main components of the bike are fully adjustable to suit all people. The peddles and saddle are very comfortable in use and the on-board workout computer give you all the stats you could want in an easy to use interface. The little ledge on the exercise computer is large enough to hold my 12.9" iPad Pro in landscape orientation safely, when using a tablet a good tip is to search the streaming channels for virtual cycling, really makes you feel like your on the road without paying any subs to the popular apps that are out there :) I had a little problem with one of the nuts missing, but customer services from XS sports contacted me within 30 minutes of me emailing Amazon and sorted the problem out, first class support. With this bike I am sure you will spend many happy hour getting fit.

I ordered an XS sports exercise bike to replace a bodyfit model which finally gave up on me after it gradually lost the use of different functions until there was nothing left. The XS arrived on the promised day, so I unpacked the box and took it up to my loft piece by piece and assembled it following the instructions in just over an hour. It really looks the part, and I then tried it out. The seat is bigger than the Bodyfit, and fairly comfortable. I started on the lowest setting, which itself is quite at challenge for me, at a young 72, and I managed to move up to 2nd, after a few minutes, and was quite comfortable with that, knowing that there are only another six to go, but that is for another time. The computer screen is a good, and easy to read size, showing speed, cals burnt, pulse rate, and distance travelled. It is a solid, well made machine, which, I am sure, will give me many hours of pain, as I gradually try to make my way up the gear box so thank you SX Sports, in anticipation of many hours of pain you will cause me.
